The year was 1999 – Herb Dew, John Knight, & David Sewell put all their cards on the table, for fear that Y2K could be the end of times. Lucky for us, it wasn’t – it was just the beginning.
Then known as Human Technologies, Inc., our business hinged on uniting job seekers with employers, providing staffing & recruiting services for technical, professional-level positions as well as temporary placements for automotive manufacturers. And while we remain deeply rooted in this field of expertise, we've learned and grown so far beyond where we started.
The workforce landscape has changed drastically over the years. And if the pandemic taught us anything it's 1 - we're relentless survivors, and 2 - employers cannot get away with the bare minimum anymore. Job seekers hold the cards and have the autonomy to design their work and personal lives much more fluidly than ever before.
These permanent shifts forced HTI to take a hard inward look at our own competitiveness - forever changing the way we approach partnerships with employers and resulting in a much wider scope of people-centric services in the workplace.
